Meer Nieuws Over USA Eagles

Een geheime tipgever op mijn Hyves-pagina wist me het volgende briefje door te geven over het Amerikaanse American football Harlem Globetrotter team, de USA Eagles. Dus… iemand nog een jeugdherberg of een berg eten over voor deze gasten? Ze komen als missionarissen om Europa opnieuw met de football-godsdienst te veroveren. Joy!

"The USA Eagles would like to base camp out of the Amsterdam, Netherlands and Belgrade, Serbia. In both cases I believe that the USA Eagles can help those “National” football programs at all level, from the flag youth programs to the national teams players and coaches. Our philosophy is to have open and sometimes joint open training sessions and open communications with anyone that wants to use this opportunity to learn from some of the best coaching available.

Our goal is to utilize the existing transportation resources available by Bus, Rail and Air to provide the lowest cost of operating out of Amsterdam. With that said we will plan to duck in and out of Spain and Italy as appropriate.

Logistics wise we are going to need some support to locate and organize on the ground a youth hostel or low cost hotel to provide lodging for the team and coaches. Food will become another issue. We do expect to travel with only 50 total personnel who all can sleep in double rooms.

I need to let you know that we are also are going to be filming every step along the way and need to work through the details of that part of our operation.

International World Tour Games Schedule:
August 6th 2008 USA Eagles arrive in Amsterdam
August 7th – August 9th 2008, Practice, Camps, and Clinics with local teams
August 10th 2008 USA Eagles vs. Amsterdam Crusaders or National Team (Scrimmage)
August 11th – August 15th Practice, Camps and Clinics with local teams.
August 16th Depart Amsterdam and travel to Coventry, England
August 17th 2008 USA Eagles vs. Coventry Jets
August 18th Return to Amsterdam
August 19th – August 22nd – Practice, Camps, and Clinics with local teams
August 23rd Depart Amsterdam and arrive in Italy
August 24th 2008 USA Eagles vs. Italian National Team
August 25th 2008 Depart Italy and Arrive in Serbia
August 26th – 30th Practice, Camps and clinics with local teams
August 31st 2008 USA Eagles vs. Serbian National Team
September 1st – September 5th Practice, Camps, and Clinics with local teams
September 6th Depart Serbia and arrive Spain
September 7th 2008 USA Eagles vs. Spanish National Team
September 8th Depart Spain and arrive in US
